Post by Lesleyhart » Sun Jan 22, 2012 10:23 am

My name is Lesley. My grandmother was Lorena (Rena) Foulds. My great-grandfather was Alexander Foulds. My great grandmother was Elizabeth Maria Mousseau. I believe they lived in portage la Prarie. My great-great grandfather Abraham Foulds Sr. My great-great-great grandfather was John Foulds who was married to my great-great-great grandmother who was Mary (Polly) Fidler. I have a sister who has 4 children, 8 grandchildren. I hope this is of interest to this site. Thank-you. Lesley.

Welcome aboard Lesley!

Are you a grandson of George JAMES who married Lorena FOULDS in Winnipeg in 1926?

I have lots of info on all of the families you mentioned. Very interesting; Thanks

Hi. That is correct. George James was the name on my mothers birth certificate. I don't believe that my grandmother ever married George James. My mother never knew him. Lesley.

This reply is to Allan who said his great great great grandfather was Samuel Foulds brother of my great great great grandfather John Foulds who married Mary Polly Fidler , daughter of our great x 4 grandfather Peter Fidler. John and Mary had a son Abraham Foulds who was my great great grandfather. He had a son, Alexander Foulds who was my great grandfather. My grandmother Lorena Foulds was his daughter. So Allen you would be a cousin to me. I only noticed your message today as I have been off site for some time but thought I would reply so you know that I did see your message.
