Linda wrote: I found your site tonight. What a lot of work you have done. I hated history when I was in school but for about 3 hours I checked out your site and read most of it. Great site. I enjoyed. I'm working on my husbands MILLER family. His grandfather, Newton MILLER's older brother William John Miller married Annabella or Anna Bella FIDLER, daughter of Peter Charles FIDLER 1850 & Margaret SWAIN 1941. I just wanted to say thank-you to you.

Thanks for the compliments Linda.
It looks like your hubby is a descendant of Thomas Falkner MILLER who was born 1848 in Ontario; married Marion McKAY; and moved to Saskatchewan in 1875.
I have a fairly good amount of info on his descendants if you have any questions.

Hi Gary,
I have just started with Glenn's family. They do not appear to be a very close family.
We have been married 27 years and I don't know or met many of them.
I do not have a death date for Thomas Falkner Miller. I have him dying in Prince Albert, Sask.
Do you know anything about his parents? I have father as Thomas - thats it. I also have a brother William born May 11, 1843 that died probably Prince Albert. He married Mary Kirkness Scott. (Not totally sure on this) There is a sister-in-law living with them that was a Scott.

I have this on an ancestry site, Lindas Buds. Not sure if you have ancestry or if you are interested in this line.
I have found info in some history books, Carrot River & Melfort , Tisdale that I have to check out before I ask more questions.

Thanks Gary,
Catch you later Linda Miller (Johnston )

You appear to have much of the same info I have.

Were Glen's parents Myrtle HORAN & Jasper Newton MILLER (born Oct 5, 1895)?

They lived in Saskatchewan; moved to Winnipeg in 1947, where Myrtle died in 1954.

I just posted that New Family Page on my other Website, Red River Ancestry. Here’s the link:

THOMAS FALKNER MILLER (1848-1930)

If you wish to continue discussions about his descendants, please do so on THAT Website. You will need a new Password for that Forum.
