Welcome to the Forum! Don't be misled by the Peter Fidler title on this website. The branches of Fidler's tree fan out to include countless family names and there are absoulutely no retrictions regarding family names or topics you wish to discuss, as long as it is done with propriety. My interests are definitely not confined to Fidler's direct descendants, but include Canadian history in general and Metis history in particular. I intend to post a wide variety of topics on my Descendants and History pages.

Hi..
I live below the castle in Bolsover, and if any of the people on this web site would like some local info, I will do my best to help you.. including some local photo's if it helps..
This is a free offer, so I wont be able to buy any info on your behalf.
I am researching my own family tree here in England, so I know it can be nice to have a bit more info without having to travel to get it..
One of my regrets is, when I travelled to Canada many years ago, I didnt know about Peter Fidler !! and my friend lives in the farm house where he was born!!
Best regards from Bolsover

Wow! Very cool! Thanks for the offer! I, for one, would be very interested in seeing photos of the farmhouse and area.
