Re: Rombough

According to Vital Stats, Abraham Lincoln ROMBROUGH (1869-1938) married 1918 in Winnipeg to one Louisa MILLS. I don't have any documented information to substantiate this, but it is possible that this is Louise Elizabeth MILLS b-1884, daughter of Jemima FIDLER & William Henry MILLS (1842-1888). ...

Sorry for the delay Judy. I missed your posting. Thanks very much for that! This seems to be the only reference I am aware of that indicates Marguerite as a child of MEENISH & Richard STEVENS. Is the reference you have (“The Selkirk Settlers”) available on line? Does it indicate the information ...

Welcome to the Forum Judy My late wife was also a descendant of Richard STEVENS b-1793. I too (and many other researchers) would like to sort out Mary MEENISH and Mary O’CONNOR. I am beginning to think they may have been one and the same, but no one seems able to produce solid evidence of the origin...

CHIEF PEGUIS and his DESCENDANTS

I want to stimulate discussions and exchanges of information regarding Chief PEGUIS (1774-1864) and his descendants (who began to use the surname PRINCE around 1840). The life of Chief PEGUIS is fairly well documented. He was born around 1774 in the area of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Around 1790 he l...

This would be David born May 12, 1868, son of Frances LILLIE & William ROBERSTON b-1831. This family also moved from St Andrews (MB) to Saskatchewan (Prince Albert)
